Richard Wilner

Controller + HR Director

Richard Wilner is Controller/HR Director of Sam Schwartz Engineering. He has 37 years of accounting experience in the public accounting and private sectors. Mr. Wilner joined SSE in July of 2006.

Mr. Wilner's responsibilities include all aspects of accounting including cash management, accounts receivables, accounts payables, payroll, vendor relationships, and monthly, quarterly and year end financial reporting and budgeting.

Mr. Wilner's HR responsibilities include new hire documentation and orientation. He manages all employee benefits including Healthcare, Dental Insurance, Long Term Disability and the companies HRA and FSA plans. Annually he is directly responsible for renewing all healthcare plans, balancing the needs of the staff against the economic demands of the insurance carriers. He also administers the SSE 401K plan, having converted to the ACEC Prudential Retirement Trust in the spring of 2009.
