Rob Phillips
Executive Vice President + Chief Operating Officer
Rob Phillips is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for SSE. Rob has over 20 experience in executive management, operations consulting and corporate merger services. He is responsible for all business and financial operations, strategic growth initiatives and senior leadership. Rob is also a member of the SSE Board of Directors.
Prior to joining SSE, Phillips was a management consultant specializing in mergers and acquisitions with PSMJ, an industry-specific consulting firm, providing both buy and sell side consulting and strategic management services. During his tenure with PSMJ, he represented companies around the country looking to either acquire a similar or competitive firm or divest their own business.
Before PSMJ, Phillips was a Partner with EnoVenture Management Consulting where he performed complete operational due diligences that included employees, finances, backlog, clients, marketing and management. Upon completion of the business due diligence, he represented buyers and sellers to accomplish their goals with the target company.
Phillips was also a partner in LDA, a management consulting firm, where he was responsible for all organic growth through startups, acquisitions and divestitures. He was instrumental in building the firm and eventually selling it to a large international company. He has performed as a turnaround, operations and financial consultant for small, medium and large companies. He has assisted numerous companies in developing disciplined processes for strategy, expense control and labor profitability. Phillips has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management (Summa Cum Laude) with a minor in Business Law, an Associate in Technology and numerous certificates in finance and project management.
