We are interested in a motivated individual for our Manhattan office looking to share their Project Management skills or increase their current responsibilities and take a leadership role in overseeing engineering staff members. The position’s responsibilities will include: managing projects and staff, attending client and agency meetings, quality controlling analysis and reports, budget and staff-hour tracking and proposal preparation. The position includes participating in Department planning and strategy and the ability to market to existing and potential clients. The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven years experience in the field, a degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering or Planning, strong written and presentation skills, familiarity with the CEQR process, expert knowledge of the industry software (HCS, Synchro, etc) and methods and a strong work ethic. A New York, New Jersey, Connecticut or Pennsylvania P.E. is preferred.

We are seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer:
Senior Traffic Engineer: Supervise traffic engineering studies, traffic modeling and simulation, capacity analysis, geometric design for transportation engineering projects, using HCS software and Autocad. Oversee transportation engineering projects. Supervise two transportation engineers. The position is 40 hours per week, 9 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday. The position requires a Masters Degree in Transportation or Civil Engineering and two years experience as a Traffic or Transportation Engineer, or Bachelor's Degree in Transportation or Civil Engineering (or foreign degree evaluated as equivalent to U.S. bachelor's degree), and five years experience as a Traffic or Transportation engineer. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.

We are seeking Transportation Engineers/Project Manager.
Candidate should have 4-8 years experience conducting traffic and transportation engineering and planning studies and at least 2 years of project management experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required. Specific experience should include preparation of traffic chapters in both Environmental Impact Statements and Environmental Assessment Statements. Candidates should also have experience preparing signal warrant studies, schematic intersection design, corridor design and traffic simulation. Knowledge of traffic software (HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, CORSIM) is necessary. The position requires strong writing, communication and presentation skills, client relation skills and proposal preparation experience. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

We are also currently seeking qualified Resident Engineer.
We are looking for a Resident Engineer with NY/ NJ P.E. with Minimum 10 years’ extensive and diverse experience with NYS/NYCDOT and/or NYCDDC on major construction projects including satisfactory experience as Resident Engineer on NYC DDC Sidewalk reconstruction projects. Perform Resident Engineer duties for a NYCDDC Reconstruction project. Administer the construction contract in accordance with NYCDDC standards. Work cooperatively with the Construction Contractor and NYCDDC. Direct SSE field construction staff assigned to administer the project and act as a liaison between NYCDDC, Contractor, and other stakeholders in the project.
